Who we are

Steve’s career in homebuilding began in 1976 when he applied his GI bill benefit for education upon discharge from the army. He completed a building construction program at Alfred State College in 1978 and from that time forward has been building houses. He is regarded by local builders, suppliers and inspectors as having exemplary knowledge of construction, organizational skills, and customer service. He co-founded Parks & Tolpa Construction in 2010. He is noted for connecting with his customers, working collaboratively with them to determine what they want, and then producing an exceptional home in a timely manner.

Steve has been married for 40 years and enjoys spending time with his friends and family, golf, hiking and skiing. He is very active in his local church.

For 27 years, Bob Tolpa has run a successful commercial and residential painting company as owner and operator of Tolpa Painting Inc. He co-founded his second company, Parks and Tolpa Construction, in 2010, to expand his reach within the construction industry. Bob excels at listening to his customers, efficiently managing his job sites, and delivering exceptional results.

Bob has been married for 27 years and has two children. Along with many years devoted to Boy Scouts and youth baseball, he's an active hunter, skier, and sport fisherman.
